So why is it so important to get it right? Who is going to read a boring corporate blog – not me and not you! Web 2.0 has opened up a whole new world for people to share their ideas and experiences but if it is ‘sleep material’ who is going to read it. Creating blogs with quality content will build your reputation and increase your followers. Here are some tips from top bloggers:

As you read these tips you will discover:
1. First impressions matter – look at the image they used to grab your attention (seen here on left). Make sure you use vibrant images and engaging content. Put yourself in the reader’s mind.
2. Have a strategy – what do you want to achieve? Write your objectives down before you start.
3. Be a niche writer – talk about what you are passionate about and you will start connecting with other bloggers who are passionate about the same thing.
