If you are in business you want people to be able to find  you. Knowing what free Google tools are available will help this happen.

Let’s start with Google + local which has replaced Google Places.  Google + Local is a free service where you can claim your Google place page.  It is easy and well worth using these four steps:

  2. Optimize your listing
  3. Cross link your Google+ local page to your website
  4. Encourage customer reviews.

We can invest a lot of money into outsourcing our ‘Search Engine Optimization’.  Before we do this we should take advantage of Google’s free tools. To conclude I have found that  Google’s Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide is also a very useful tool to help get started.
